Education has changed, just like everything in the world. We are currently in the 21st century and things are not as they used to be in the 20th or 18th century. In my observation, students are still lagging behind in understanding the primary purpose of going to school to be educated.
In the past, education was deemed the "Key to Success." However, recently, there have been numerous changes and I can affirm that education is not entirely the key to success but rather a bridge. Don't mistaken me, this article is not in any way to degrade education. Education is very important and thus everyone should go to school and try score high grades; it will give you an edge.
In the present society, Education presents a great opportunity for people from different walks of life to interact. Education through its institutions presents an avenue for students to practice their talents and master them making it easy to navigate the present challenges. It is for this reason that you will see many people making a lot of money out of talent and not education.
Therefore, what is the importance of education in the 21st century? The answer is simple, knowledge acquisition and networking. Education has evolved, and currently it is a tool that one uses to enhance their talents and skills. The current learning experience should help a student garner life skills and literacy skills.
